Chairman`s Report BEX on HOLD for 2010 |

After seven sell-out events over the past seven years the BEX Awards are now firmly established into the Tweed`s social and business calendar.
The Gold Coast Airport Tweed Business Excellance Awards (BEX) have been an overwhelming success story.
Each of the seven events staged to date have drawn fabulous reviews from all quarters of the Tweed business community.
The challenge for the 2010 Planning Committee is to ensure we take BEX to even newer heights of business recognition, fine dining, entertainment and local business interaction.
Of course the real success of BEX lies within the individual businesses that take the time and trouble to enter the awards.
In every way, these business people are winners for they declare a willingness to have their businesses judged against their peers.
As we have so clearly seen over the past few years, there is no downside to a business conducting a review of what it is they believe their businesses have that is so special.
Each year we have received a greater number of entries showing the word is spreading about the value for businesses for entering the BEX Awards.
The real winner with the BEX Awards though is the Tweed itself.
Whilst ever businesses continue to embrace "excellence" in their daily operations this translates into better patronage, increased customer satisfaction, stronger work ethics, better staff morale, etc.
There is no downside to having our local businesses striving for higher work practices!
The 2010 BEX Planning Committee is absolutely committed to delivering the best awards night yet.
The 2010 awards will again be a night of celebration, recognition, entertainment and wonderful business and social interaction.
